I got so excited the other day when my Husband brought home some leftover Panera Sandwiches that were catered at his work. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious... However, I was more excited to see the box he brought them home in. I literally jumped up and down when I opened this box!!
First of all, on the outside you can see that it has handles.
And, second you can see that there are two removable "trays" inside the box.
Do you see where I'm going with this?
I thought, "How perfect!! This would make the best Preschool Craft Box!!"
So... I broke out the Mod Podge that night.
And got happy with it.
First of all, if you've never Mod Podged anything before, don't worry. It is not hard at all. In fact it is very easy and your little Kidamerink could even help you. I did mine after my Kidamerinks went to bed though...
First, I just tore up some pieces of colorful paper.
Then, I got to work layering all the pieces to cover the outside of the box using Mod Podge. You just slather it on and smooth it out. Make sure you get the edges really well, so it seals everything in properly.
Then, let it dry and set. It takes about an hour or two, depending on how thick you put it on.
After the initial covering was done, I decided to add some cut-outs from some scrapbook paper I had, and then Mod Podged those on as well.
Cuteness, is all I can say.
And so functional.
I absolutely love this box!! I store most of our Preschool Supplies downstairs in the basement, so it makes it so much easier to put everything in my box for the day and then take it upstairs with me all in one trip. Instead of the usual 4-5!! :) And, clean-up is so much easier now too!!

So, go and find yourself a good box and get to work.
If you can find one with handles, snatch it up quick.
