What is the meaning behind the name Kidamerinks you may ask?
Well, it is a word I started using loosely on my son when he was little in terms of endearment.
And, it sort of stuck.
When I first had the idea for this blog, I immediately named it Kidamerinks simply because it was for my little Kidamerink. I thought it would be appropriate, being that the cause and focus of this blog was going to be for "kids."
Here's a Dictionary Definition (that I made up), to make it a little bit more clear:

Origin: Skidamarink-a-Dink-a-Dink (Children's Song)
Definition: 1 a. A silly child whom you love unconditionally, unique quirks and all.
b. The Pride and Joy of a new Mama.
2 a. The innocence and excitement of new discoveries in a child's eye.
b. A well-rounded young person.
Example: 1. "Yup (after child has done something embarrassing), that's my Kidamerink!"
2. "I just love you to pieces, my little Kidamerink-a-dink!!"
3. "Well, little Kidamerink... the toilet does flush in circles, but lets not practice
flushing down Mommy's glasses, okay?"
4. "Okay my Kidamerink's, Who's ready to get some Knowledge?"
Maybe I'll submit that definition to Websters'? <Chuckles to Self>
Seriously though, Kidamerinks is for the cute ones that we swear our lives by. We all want what is best for our kids, and teaching our own children is the best way to start. Learning first starts in the home, and Kidamerinks will show you a way to do just that.
