I put together a Gospel ABC's flipbook for my son this last week.
I found an awesome idea at The Idea Door, and then tweaked it a bit.
The original idea was to print this 4x6 ABC book and to put it into a photo album. It is such a great idea, and seriously well done. I love the captions for each letter.
Well, if you remember a while back, I made a flipbook of Tractors for my Kidamerink. It has been the best thing ever to take with us to Church. It keeps him quiet for at least 15 minutes. So, I decided to take the ABC photo album one step further.
I printed out the 4x6 cards, laminated them back-to-back, and then punched a hole in the corner to create a Gospel ABC Flipbook.
I love it and so does my Kidamerink!
It would be a great thing to grab for FHE on a whim as well!! That happens often at my house... :)
I love that he likes to sit and look at it randomly throughout the day.
And... it also teaches the alphabet. Hooray!!
Here is the direct link:
They also have some for older kids and different topics as well... That of course I am going to do, so should you!!
Also... When printing this file, make sure you set your paper settings to 4x6, or it will print a full page. To do that, when you go to Print just change the orientation or size of your paper (you can still print on an 8x10 piece of paper).
I'm including this because it took me a while to figure out how to print a 4x6 sized image from this particular file!!
Maybe it is a no-brainer, but if I didn't know... maybe you don't either!! :)
Your settings/computer/printer may be different, but should be somewhat the same in paper orientation/size.
